Delete your Gawwap account and data
This page explains how Gawwap users can request deletion of their account and associated app data.
Delete your account in the app
- Open the Gawwap app and sign in to your account.
- Go to Profile.
- Open Settings.
- Select Delete account.
- Confirm your password and submit the deletion request.
If you cannot access the app
Email us from the same email address registered with your Gawwap account and include the subject line Account deletion request. Include your Gawwap username or profile name if available so we can verify the correct account.

What data is deleted
- Your Gawwap profile information.
- Your local Spins, videos, thumbnails, and related media files.
- Your travel albums, photos, and related media files.
- Your notifications, saved items, follows, and app account data where applicable.
- Your Firebase Authentication account.
Retention period
Account deletion is processed as soon as possible. Some security logs, backups, or records required for fraud prevention, abuse prevention, or legal compliance may be retained for a limited period and then removed according to operational requirements.
